First true Experience with Anime:
I've never really been a big fan of Anime Series or Movies!To tell you the truth i was always skeptical about them, because for me they always lacked something - either the storyline which literally sucked (Pardon my French), or something else!
Maybe i disliked them because my next door neighbor and friend watched them all the time, and no-matter the storyline or the anime itself, he always told me that "This is Good, I recommend it!"
Well, to be honest: "Those which he recommended, weren't good or even close to it!"
So i just stopped listening to anyone whoever recommended for me to watch some other Anime Series or Movies, i just didn't care because they all were the same - well, at least i thought so!
Anyways, to cut back to the chase: After several years my girlfriend also recommended for me to watch one of the Animes: Sure i fought back, telling her that "all the Animes are the same!" Well then, my words against her's weren't enough - and eventually, somehow, i was forced to watch Anime called "5 Centimeters per Second!"
Now here's what changed: After i finished to watch it - "I liked it, I loved it, I was amazed!"- And to be honest, i watched it all over again the second and the third time; Because it really was worth it, eventually though i bought the DVD and watched it the fourth, the fifth and the sixth time!
(Yea i know: It's not strange rather than sick - I became an Anime Freak, what i can say, huh?) Anyways, below you'll see an short review on it, hope you'll like it... Cheers =)

Here's what you need to know about this movie: "It's Great - nothing less, and a lot more!"To tell you the truth, this Anime Movie ("5 Centimeters per Second") is one Piece of the Artwork, just like Mona Lisa: In every scene you just can see how much love, passion and hard work was put in it - and not only this, but also the story itself, which reflects the long distance relationships between two people; their feelings for each-other; what they're thinking; their lifestyles and life...
To be honest, all the movies which i once saw - have never reflected real life as much as "5 Centimeters Per Second": I just don't recall remembering any, and i don't think that there are any. At least that's my opinion!
In other words "5 Centimeters Per Second" is worthwhile Anime Movie, just watch it even when you're no Fan of Animes!
